Internet
Privacy In addition to the other provisions
outlined in this Privacy Policy, the following applies to use
of our websites.

Collection of
Information: We collect and store
information about the name of the domain from which you
access the Internet (such as Compuserve.com or AOL.com),
your computer's IP (Internet Protocol) address, the date
and time you access our site, the Internet address of
the website from which you linked to us, as well as
information regarding your browser and operating system.
While you use our site, we collect the amounts of time
you spend and links you use on each page as well as the
address to which you go when leaving our site. This
information enables us to tell which areas of the site
and benefits being offered are of most interest to our
Members and visitors, which avenues of site promotion
are most effective and the volumes and times of peak
website usage.
We use "cookies" to store and
retrieve information about you. A cookie is a small
piece of information that a website stores on your web
browser and can later retrieve. We use cookies for added
convenience to Members and visitors and they are for
administrative use and information-gathering purposes as
noted above. None of the cookies will contain
information that will enable any third party to contact
you.
Links To Third Party
Websites: Our website may contain links to,
and may be linked from, third party websites, which are
not under our control. We make no representations
whatsoever about any other website to which you may have
access through, or to, our website. When you access a
website that does not belong to us, you do so at your
own risk, and we are not responsible for the accuracy or
reliability of any information, data, opinions, advice,
or statements made on those sites. We are not
responsible for updating or correcting false or
misleading information on any third party website. We
provide these links as a convenience, and the inclusion
of such links does not imply that we endorse or accept
any responsibility for the content or uses of such
websites. Furthermore, any opinions expressed on any
third party website are not necessarily ours.
Your Online Security: One of
our highest priorities is to ensure your privacy and
peace of mind by employing some of the most advanced
online security measures in the industry. Once you
enroll in online services, you will be able to use your
membership number and a self-selected password that
serves as our first line of defense. Whenever we ask you
to send confidential information over the Internet, we
require that a "secure session" using Secured Socket
Layer (SSL) be established. SSL is a software-based
security protocol that encodes data before it is
transmitted over the Internet. The use of SSL requires
that you have an SSL compatible browser. At a minimum,
we require the use of a browser equipped with 128-bit
encryption to ensure the privacy of your information and
recommend the use of Netscape™ Navigator 4.08 or later,
Microsoft® Explorer 4.01 or later, or AOL 4.0 or later.
In addition, we have extensive and sophisticated
security measures in place to protect our servers,
databases, and communication lines. Our systems are
monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure
the continued integrity. We engage in regular internal
and external reviews of our website, security
procedures, and technologies. This attention to security
helps ensure the safety of your membership account
information and online transactions. The best security
measures are those that support your privacy without
hindering your access to membership account information.
You can rest assured that your membership account
information is safe. |
Former Members
If you decide to cancel your membership or
your membership becomes inactive or is cancelled for some
other reason, we will continue to treat and safeguard your
information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Protecting Our Children We
do not knowingly market to anyone under the age of 18. We
recognize the importance of protecting children's identities
and privacy.
Commitment to
Service If you believe that our records
contain inaccurate or incomplete information about you, it is
important that you notify us as soon as possible. We will
investigate your concerns and correct any verifiable
inaccuracies.
This Privacy Policy replaces any prior
privacy policy we have posted or delivered to you. We reserve
the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time, and we
will inform you of changes as required by law.
